In todays class we talked about cultural regions. I learned that "to care for" has two different meanings. The first one is to care about and the second one is to take care of. Then we talked about what people care about and what they take care of. Then we began to talk about the cultural regions of North America and got with a partner and listed three or more facts about each region.

In todays class we continued to go over the world leaders and took some notes on key points about them. I found it weird that most leaders had a brother that died. It was also weird that in some countries the person with the most power was not the president. It was crazy to me how many tyrants/dictators there are today.

In todays class we had a pop quiz. It was ten questions worth twenty points. When I went to turn it in Mr. Schick started calling me squishy because I was soaking wet due to a big water ballon popping on me a few minutes before lunch. Then we went over the test and talked about it.

Todays class was our first time meeting since before break. We talked about Political Geography and how the world is organized. We talked about the categories a Country, Nation and State. Then we got into more detail with culture and religion and what each nation/state does.
